Killeen Police have identified 25-year-old Vincent Abenoyap Mbo as the victim in a fatal shooting that occurred on November 2 at a residence on Blake Street. Officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired around 3:10 a.m. and were met with a chaotic scene where a man emerged from the home, informing them of a shooting inside.
Upon entering the residence, SWAT officers discovered Mbo near the entrance, fatally injured. During this investigation, a 36-year-old male suspect, who has yet to be named, fired at the police, prompting officers to return fire and injure him. The police department has placed the officer involved on administrative leave, and an investigation is underway with the Bell County District Attorney’s Office.
