A man named Blessed Omoobajesu has been arrested for allegedly robbing a store at gunpoint in Colorado Springs. The incident occurred on October 28 in the 3500 block of North Academy Boulevard, where Omoobajesu is accused of threatening the clerk with a loaded handgun while demanding cash.
The Colorado Springs Police Department’s Robbery Unit initiated an extensive investigation, culminating in an arrest warrant issued on November 10. Omoobajesu was apprehended by the Tactical Enforcement Unit, which discovered the firearm concealed in his waistband, raising concerns about public safety given his past violent offenses.
