Oswego police have charged Tytis D. Givan, 19, and Tyrell I. Mays, 18, with five felony counts of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon after responding to a noise complaint. The two men were parked in a vehicle on Chestnut Drive for approximately 20 minutes, playing loud music when officers arrived on the scene.
Upon making contact with Givan and Mays, police discovered that both individuals possessed uncased, loaded firearms without valid concealed carry licenses or Firearm Owner’s Identification cards. With both men being under 21 years of age, the case raises significant concerns about weapon access and youth safety in the community.
