Authorities in Shelby Township have dismantled a sophisticated multi-state drug trafficking operation, resulting in the arrest of three local men and the confiscation of approximately 1,500 pounds of marijuana along with over $380,000 in cash. According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, the operation involved sales of bulk marijuana to out-of-state buyers, circumventing Michigan’s legal market for the substance.
The raids, carried out by a specialized enforcement team, uncovered not only vast quantities of marijuana but also firearms and various controlled substances, including crack cocaine and THC products.
