Philadelphia police are actively searching for a robbery suspect following a terrifying armed heist at a Sunoco gas station in the Rhawnhurst neighborhood. Surveillance footage shows a man brandishing a gun and threatening an employee after being asked to leave the premises, claiming he would shoot if his demands weren’t met.
During the incident, which occurred Saturday morning on Castor Avenue, the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating the gunman, who was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
