Bowie Police have arrested an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old in connection with an armed robbery that occurred outside Bowie High School, where a student was threatened at gunpoint for his Moose Knuckles jacket and shoes. During a search, authorities confiscated two automatic handguns and the stolen items, rivalling the jacket’s retail price of $1,600, highlighting the severity of the crime.
The incident, which left the victim with minor injuries, occurred on October 13, and police attempted to track suspects who fled in a stolen Acura sedan. Officers observed the older suspect, Koby Allen, discarding a backpack that contained the ghost guns, which are illegal firearms that require no serial numbers. Both suspects face multiple charges, including armed robbery and second-degree assault, raising concerns about youth violence in the community.
