Stamford police have arrested brothers Shadair Hall-McBean and Shamel Hall in connection with a suspected 3D printing operation that manufactured illegal ghost guns. The operation was uncovered during a morning raid where authorities seized multiple 3D-printed handgun frames, a loaded ghost gun, and over 350 rounds of ammunition from their residence.
Assistant Chief Richard Conklin expressed concern over the potential impact of the brothers’ operation, stating, “Who knows how many guns were manufactured and perhaps entered the community via this operation.” Hall-McBean faces numerous charges including illegal firearm manufacturing and possession, with his bond set at $250,000, while Shamel Hall is charged with interfering in the investigation. The police investigation is ongoing, suggesting more developments may follow.
