A Simi Valley man, Luke Bancroft, is arrested and faces multiple charges after authorities discover over 125 firearms, including 14 classified as assault weapons, along with 100,000 rounds of ammunition and psilocybin mushrooms. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office reports that Bancroft was under investigation for allegedly purchasing weapons out of state and illegally bringing them into California.
During a traffic stop on November 4, investigators find two loaded handguns in Bancroft’s vehicle, neither of which is registered in California, and he lacks a concealed carry permit. The significant cache of weapons, including firearm suppressors and hundreds of magazines, raises concerns about potential violations of state firearm laws. Bancroft has since been released on bail, yet details regarding his court date remain unclear.
