Second Suspect Arrested in High Point Homicide

High Point police have apprehended a second suspect linked to the homicide that occurred on October 10, charging 28-year-old Renard D. Hagood with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder. This case follows the earlier arrest of 28-year-old Kahlil Barrier, with both men allegedly connected to a violent shooting that claimed the life of 35-year-old Quadarius Hill of Greensboro.

In addition to the homicide charges, Hagood is linked to several armed robberies in the area, further complicating his legal troubles. Notably, he faces charges related to a robbery at Fairway One Stop and multiple instances involving firearms at other local businesses. As the investigation unfolds, police confirm that the suspects and victims had prior connections, suggesting a targeted incident rather than random violence. The ongoing investigation is drawing significant attention in the community.
