A 26-year-old man from Pitcairn has been charged after a loaded revolver was found in his carry-on bag during a security check at Pittsburgh International Airport early Sunday morning. Allegheny County police reported that the firearm was discovered just after 6 a.m., drawing immediate attention from law enforcement officials.
Justin Lang, who did not possess a valid concealed carry permit, faces charges for carrying a firearm without a license. Authorities emphasized the seriousness of the situation, noting that passengers who attempt to bring firearms into airport security face potential federal civil fines up to $10,000, with repeat offenders subject to fines as high as $13,910.
