Dorian Gardner, a 37-year-old man from Boonville, faces serious charges including first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action after allegedly firing a gun during a heated argument. The incident occurred at the intersection of 6th and Locust streets, where Gardner purportedly threatened the victim and discharged the firearm, with shell casings found within close proximity to a nearby middle school.
Authorities arrested Gardner after he initially denied involvement but later confessed to having and firing the weapon.
