Authorities in Athens have arrested three additional suspects in connection with the murder of Antonio Jewell, who was killed during an armed robbery attempt on November 6. Dermetris Allen, 19, Christian Hull, 18, and Chedric Stroud, 19, face serious charges, including murder, armed robbery, and gang-related offenses, bringing the total number of arrests in this case to six.
The investigation began when police found Jewell, 22, fatally wounded on Madison Avenue, leading to previous arrests of Samtavious Clark, Jeremiah Gresham, and Dion Nesbitt earlier in the month. All suspects are currently held at the Clarke County Jail, and police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
