A 31-year-old man from Brunswick, New York, is arrested and charged with first-degree robbery after allegedly threatening a gas station clerk with a purple handgun. The incident occurred on December 1 at a Sunoco location, where the suspect reportedly demanded cash while brandishing the weapon before fleeing on foot.
Following a swift investigation, New York State Police tracked down the suspect during a traffic stop, recovering both the stolen money and the firearm used in the robbery. He now faces serious charges, including criminal possession of a weapon, and is being held without bail in a county correctional facility.
