The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a woman implicated in an armed robbery at a Dollar General store in Augusta on Sunday. According to deputies, the suspect entered the store multiple times, collecting groceries while acting suspiciously and claiming she had lost her phone before presenting a note demanding cash alongside a handgun.
Witnesses report seeing the woman flee behind the building after receiving $100 from the store employee. Described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing between 165 to 175 pounds, she was wearing a white “Snoopy” sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans, and a black mask during the incident. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact them to aid in the ongoing investigation.
