Military support for Ukraine in 2025 is projected to drop to its lowest level since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, according to the Kiel Institute. With the shift in U.S. policy expected after Donald Trump’s anticipated return to office, Europe has struggled to maintain the support levels seen earlier this year, raising concerns about Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
As of October, Ukraine has received around $37.9 billion in military aid, a far cry from the nearly $44 billion required to match even the minimum support of 2022. Experts indicate that without significant increases in aid over the final months of the year, 2025 could mark a significant decline, potentially undermining Ukraine’s ongoing military efforts amid its conflict with Russia.
