The 2025 Regulated Deer Hunt at Presque Isle State Park kicks off successfully, yielding six total deer harvested by the end of Day 1. Among the harvests, participants brought in five doe and one notable 8-point buck, showcasing both skill and the management efforts to maintain wildlife balance in the park.
A total of 46 hunters participated in the opening day of the event, which continues on December 11. Park officials emphasized the importance of this hunt for wildlife management and expressed gratitude towards the community and hunters for their engagement in preserving Presque Isle’s ecosystem.
