Driver Shoots Into Van on Interstate in Winston-Salem

A Randolph County man is arrested and faces serious charges after allegedly firing a gun into a work van occupied by two men while traveling on Interstate 74 West in Winston-Salem. The incident occurred at approximately 9:20 a.m. when the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Dylan Cole Jennings, reportedly approached the victims’ vehicle recklessly before discharging his weapon without injuring either occupant.

Authorities quickly located Jennings’ vehicle at a nearby business, leading to his arrest on multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm in city limits. As he remains in custody at the Forsyth County Jail without bond, police and local officials stress the importance of public safety in the wake of this alarming incident.
