With gun-related deaths in Florida reaching 3,232 in 2022 according to the CDC, the need for organizations like IMPACT GNV is increasingly urgent. Program Manager Brittany Coleman highlights partnerships with local schools and nonprofits to strengthen outreach and support for vulnerable populations. The organization has secured partial funding from the American Rescue Plan and is actively seeking additional grants to sustain its initiatives, which aim to empower communities most impacted by gun violence.
