Police arrest 28-year-old Jesus Javier Contreras-Reyes following a monthlong armed robbery spree targeting 7-Eleven stores in Los Angeles. Between April 9 and May 7, he allegedly entered multiple stores under the pretext of making a purchase before brandishing a firearm and demanding cash from cashiers.
His apprehension comes after another robbery at a South Gate 7-Eleven, where he was captured shortly after the crime. Authorities believe there may be additional victims and have released images and video of Reyes to aid in expanding the investigation. Detectives encourage anyone with information to reach out and assist in the case.
