Lynchburg Police Investigate Homicide, Seek Shooter

Lynchburg Police are actively investigating the homicide of 25-year-old Zaykeese Amarius Brown, who was shot on May 6 in the 2000 block of Bedford Avenue. The police have released security footage featuring a person of interest and are urging the public to assist in identifying this individual to further the investigation.

Detective Dubie encourages anyone with information about the shooting or the suspect to reach out, either by contacting the police directly or through Crime Stoppers, where anonymous tips are accepted.
