Norwalk police arrest 34-year-old Melvin Colon after seizing a ghost gun, an assault pistol, two high-capacity magazines, and over 150 grams of suspected cocaine from his apartment on Wilson Avenue. The arrest follows a months-long investigation prompted by community complaints about drug sales in the area, leading officers to obtain multiple search and arrest warrants against Colon.
In addition to the firearms and drugs, officers found more than $20,000 in cash during the raid. Colon faces serious charges, including possession and sale of narcotics, illegal possession of firearms, and altering gun serial numbers, raising concerns about public safety and drug-related crimes in the community.
