Teen Arrested for Gunpoint Subway Robbery in Nashville

Metro Police in Nashville have arrested 19-year-old Keshawn Johnson following a brazen armed robbery at a Subway restaurant. Johnson allegedly entered the store wearing all black and a ski mask, brandishing a pistol while demanding cash from terrified customers. As he fled with the stolen money, undercover officers, already monitoring the area due to previous robberies, launched a pursuit that culminated in a tactical vehicle intervention.

Authorities located Johnson’s vehicle, which contained significant evidence including a loaded pistol and the stolen cash. During questioning, he reportedly acknowledged his involvement in the robbery, although details remained sparse. He has been charged with aggravated robbery and is currently held in custody on a $50,000 bond, raising concerns about youth crime in the community that has recently seen a spike in similar incidents.
