A 19-year-old man from York City has been arrested in relation to an armed robbery that involved three juveniles on Monday. Da’Nas Zytier Edwards was apprehended after an investigation revealed he allegedly brandished a handgun during the incident, forcing one victim to surrender his Air Jordan sneakers and an Apple iPhone.
Police utilized surveillance footage from the scene to connect Edwards to the crime, leading to a search of his residence where they discovered clothing identical to that worn during the robbery. He now faces multiple charges, including felony robbery and possessing a firearm without a license, with bail set at $50,000. Authorities are still in pursuit of a second suspect involved in the case.
