A 2-year-old girl is reported missing after being abducted during an armed robbery at a Chicago home early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. in the 4800 block of South Michigan Avenue when a trio of armed individuals forced their way into the residence, taking the child along with a vehicle and other belongings, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Authorities have not made any arrests as of 8:45 a.m. on the same day, and an investigation into the situation is ongoing. While no injuries were reported during the incident, police believe it could be related to domestic matters. The abductors fled the scene in a stolen gray Nissan hatchback, raising concerns and questions about the safety of the young girl.
