Man Sought in Valentine’s Day Hotel Robbery in Mahwah

Bergen County authorities are actively searching for 31-year-old Henry X. Rodriguez, who is linked to an armed robbery that occurred in a hotel parking lot on Valentine’s Day. Rodriguez allegedly confronted a couple at approximately 8:12 p.m., brandishing a handgun and stealing the woman’s purse before fleeing the scene.

Rodriguez holds ties to Paterson, NJ, and Wilkes-Barre, PA, prompting police to seek public assistance in his capture. Officers encourage anyone with information to contact the Mahwah Police Department, with the possibility of an anonymous tip leading to a cash reward for useful information that results in his arrest.
