Gwinnett County police are actively seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a Dollar General store in Suwanee on May 19. The robbery unfolded in broad daylight, with one of the suspects brandishing a machete as they held an employee down while forcing another to open the store’s safe.
The suspects made off with three empty deposit bags and the victims’ cell phones before escaping on foot. Both individuals are described as tall, slender Black males, with one wearing a black ski mask and the other a black beanie. Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact Gwinnett County Police detectives or to reach out to Crime Stoppers anonymously.
