Americus Man Sentenced for Gun Possession Linked to Drugs

Juan Antonious Boone, a 36-year-old resident of Americus, Georgia, is sentenced to 181 months in federal prison for illegally possessing firearms while being under investigation for fentanyl distribution. As part of an ongoing probe, Boone was apprehended with two stolen 9mm pistols and large quantities of narcotics including fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine when he attempted to evade police during a traffic stop.

This case is a significant part of Operation Take Back America, which aims to combat violent crime and drug trafficking nationwide.
