An Amsterdam man is in custody after allegedly threatening a victim with a loaded handgun and vandalizing their vehicle by slashing tires on Glen Avenue. The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Isaiah Kahn, reportedly fled the scene but was later apprehended by police, who found a loaded firearm in his possession.
Further investigation revealed that a second loaded pistol, which was stolen from Georgia, was recovered from Kahn’s home during a search. He now faces serious charges, including menacing and criminal mischief, as well as additional drug and weapons offenses, raising concerns about escalating violence in the community.
