Apex Armed Robbery Leads to Crash; Two Arrested

Two men are in custody following a dramatic turn of events in Apex, where an armed robbery at Dick’s Sporting Goods escalated into a tragic crash. The suspects, identified as Ronnie Faulkner and Uri Lamar Burns, attempted to flee the scene, but were intercepted by police who deployed tire-popping tactics as the vehicle veered dangerously onto the wrong side of the highway before crashing into a pickup truck.

While Burns was apprehended after trying to run from the wreck, Faulkner sustained injuries in the crash, though fortunately, no one else was harmed. Both men face multiple charges, including armed robbery and driving while intoxicated, while police are actively searching for a third suspect believed to be involved in the crime.
