In a disturbing incident in Chambersburg, two men, Diogenes Torres, 22, and Miguel Angel Torres, 19, are jailed without bail after allegedly holding a 10-year-old boy at gunpoint in his bedroom during an armed robbery. The crime unfolded during a party at a home on Brumbaugh Avenue, where the suspects reportedly fired several shots, including one inside the child’s room, while stealing a PlayStation console and assaulting a female resident.
Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene as the suspects continued to shoot bullets into the ceiling while moving through the house. Police apprehended the men shortly afterward in a traffic stop, recovering a gun and other evidence linking them to the crime.
