Two men are accused of an armed robbery at the NY Jewelry store inside Greenbrier Mall in Chesapeake, Virginia, where they allegedly stole nearly $500,000 worth of gold jewelry. The robbery occurred on October 9, when both suspects entered the store separately, one holding four individuals, including two USPS letter carriers, at gunpoint while the other pried open display cases with a crowbar.
The FBI reports that the suspects fled the scene shortly after the theft, prompting a public appeal for help in identifying them. A reward of up to $25,000 is offered for information leading to their arrest, as investigators seek any footage or photos from that day that may aid the investigation.
