Law enforcement in Hampton County, S.C., is urging the community for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at the Nixville Country Store on Sunday night. Surveillance footage from the incident shows a 17-year-old cashier facing a gunman who forced him to empty the cash register, ultimately stealing $3,000 in cash and $2,700 worth of cigarettes.
Miraculously, no injuries occurred during the robbery, but the employee was left shaken by the traumatic experience. Store manager Calanthia Bibbs, who has worked at the store for 15 years, expressed her concern for the young worker, highlighting the importance of safety over material losses. The Nixville Country Store is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. Authorities encourage anyone with details to contact local law enforcement.
