A seemingly innocent Facebook sale of baby shoes in Memphis turns violent as three armed men rob the seller and fire shots in his direction. The incident occurred early Friday morning when the victim, having previously sold a pair of shoes, confronted his buyer who arrived with two friends, both armed with handguns and one with a rifle.
The seller, feeling uneasy about the buyer’s arrival, tried to escape but was assaulted and threatened before fleeing as shots rang out. Although he evaded injury from the gunfire, he sustained injuries while vaulting a fence to escape. Police have identified the suspects as members of the Chopper Gang but have yet to make any arrests.
