Armed Robbery in Miami Travel Agency Shocks Victim

A Miami woman describes a harrowing experience after being robbed at knifepoint by a man who posed as a customer at her travel agency. Maria Landa recounts the moment the suspect, appearing to be a typical client, suddenly escalated to violence, brandishing a knife and demanding money. “I thought I was going to die,” she said, sharing her fears during the terrifying encounter.

Surveillance footage captured clear images of the suspect, described as a 65- to 68-year-old man, around 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a medium build. The Miami Police Department is actively searching for leads and urges anyone with information to contact their Robbery Unit. As the investigation continues, Landa emphasizes the need for vigilance, labeling the suspect as “a very dangerous man.”
