In a recent crackdown on drug-related crimes, police in Tarn Taran arrest five individuals, including an army personnel on leave, suspected of drug trafficking. The authorities seized a total of 435 grams of heroin, along with a recently acquired England-made pistol and cash indicating drug transactions.
The army individual, who has connections with local smugglers, reportedly received narcotics via drones for distribution across the country. Along with another suspect, they were apprehended with a significant quantity of heroin and digital devices. Their arrests highlight ongoing efforts to combat drug peddling in the region.
