The Sutter County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals following a sexual assault and weapons investigation in Yuba City. On October 25, deputies responded to allegations of sexual assault and assault with a deadly weapon, leading to a search warrant execution that uncovered four firearms, including a semi-automatic handgun and a rifle, alongside armor-piercing ammunition.
The suspects include 20-year-old Dartagnan Owen, charged with serious sexual offenses, and 20-year-old Shyann Braiser, accused of assault with a deadly weapon. Additionally, 50-year-old Shaun Braiser faces charges for being a felon in possession of a firearm. This case highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat violent crime in the region.
