Live Oak Police have arrested three individuals implicated in the murder of Joseph Simmons during a robbery last month. Tara Williams, 18, Zed Washington, 20, and Zac’Tavious Webb, 17, face multiple charges, including conspiracy to commit robbery and felony murder, after Simmons was shot while attempting to escape from his assailants.
Authorities report that Simmons was lured to Southwest Johnson Avenue by Williams, who had connected with him via social media. After a failed attempt to rob him at gunpoint, Simmons was shot and managed to crash his car about 75 yards away, leading to a month-long investigation that uncovered the conspiracy behind the tragic incident.
