Atlantic City Man Sentenced for Armed Robberies

Majid Harris, a 23-year-old resident of Atlantic City, is sentenced to 12 years in state prison for armed robbery offenses involving food delivery drivers. Convicted on multiple counts, including first-degree armed robbery and aggravated assault, Harris’s plea agreement mandates he serve a minimum of ten years before being eligible for parole.

Harris’s crimes occurred in late November 2023 when he conducted two brazen robberies at gunpoint, using the same phone number to order food from different stores. Following his arrest, he was implicated in a violent incident at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, where he severely beat another inmate. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office oversaw the case, which highlights the serious consequences of violent crime in the community.
