Awareness Event on Gun Violence Scheduled for June 16

The Agency for Substance Abuse Prevention is set to host an awareness event focused on gun violence and substance misuse on June 16 at Zinn Park in Anniston, Alabama. The event, titled “I Want to Live: Walking for Lives, Walking for Change,” begins at 10 a.m. and will feature guest speakers, including musician Yung Joc and local advocate Sheffton Goodson, aimed at raising awareness among youth about the severe impacts of these issues.
