Ethan King, a 20-year-old Baltimore man, has been sentenced to eight years in federal prison for illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition as a previously convicted felon. King, who pled guilty to the charges, is linked to a disturbing incident captured on surveillance footage where he purchased a Glock 19 handgun along with a machine gun conversion device.
The firearm, which was recovered during a police search of his home, contained an extended magazine holding 31 rounds of 9mm ammunition. This case is part of the Project Safe Neighborhoods initiative, aimed at combating gun violence and fostering community trust while targeting repeat offenders. Authorities emphasize the importance of addressing illegal firearms possession to reduce violent crime rates.
