Baraboo Police Investigate Armed Cash Store Robbery

The Baraboo Police Department is actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Cash Store on Thursday afternoon. A male suspect reportedly entered the store on the 900 block of Highway 136 around 12:33 p.m., displayed a handgun, and demanded cash before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Described as a black man approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slim build, the suspect wore black pants with a gold belt buckle, a black jacket with a hood, a black facemask, and white sneakers. He was last seen driving a dark SUV with black rims westbound on County Road W. Police are urging anyone who may spot the vehicle not to approach and to contact local law enforcement immediately.
