Beltsville Man Arrested for Impersonating Officer

A Beltsville man, 33-year-old Jonathan Michael Davis, is in custody after being charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer, along with multiple gun-related offenses. Prince George’s County police officers discovered an alarming cache of weapons, badges, and tactical gear during a traffic stop on October 11, including a “ghost gun” found on Davis and numerous items in his vehicle outfitted to resemble police equipment.

Following the initial arrest, authorities executed a search warrant at Davis’s home, uncovering additional firearms, tactical vests, and police radios. The incident has raised concern among local officials, who are urging anyone who may have interacted with Davis in his impersonation efforts to come forward with information. The investigation into this alarming case remains ongoing.
