In a chilling hunting accident, Rusty Ullery’s English pointer, Darby, receives a serious injury from a broadhead arrow while pointing quail in Kansas. Dr. Brandon Weidenhaft, who treated Darby, notes it’s an unusual injury he has never seen in 25 years of practice. Despite this dangerous mishap, Ullery remains optimistic about Darby’s recovery, as he intends to continue their hunting season together.
