The investigation began earlier this year, focusing on alleged cocaine trafficking, and culminated when police identified the vehicle linked to the operation, originating from Toronto.
OPP Chief Superintendent Mike Stoddart emphasizes the significance of this operation, noting that the firearms traced back to the United States indicate a broader issue of cross-border criminal activity. Balraj Singh, 31, and Kawalbir Singh, 21, are both charged with weapons trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, highlighting the persistent risks posed by illegal firearms in the community.
