A 19-year-old man from Tustin and three underage accomplices face multiple charges after they rammed a stolen Hyundai Sonata into the Saddleback Valley Gun Center in Laguna Niguel early Saturday morning. The group managed to steal firearms, including a gun and two pellet guns, along with ammunition, before making a swift escape in a second stolen vehicle, a Kia Rio, leaving the crashed Sonata behind at the scene.
Witnesses alerted the Orange County Sheriff’s Department shortly after the collision, and deputies responded within minutes, launching a pursuit that led to the suspects’ arrest in Tustin. The adult suspect now faces charges including burglary, vandalism, and possession of a stolen vehicle, with bail set at $20,000.
