California Man Arrested for Pointing Gun in Johnstown

A 56-year-old man from California, Gerald D. Johnson, faces multiple charges after allegedly pointing a gun at several people in a Johnstown parking lot early on May 30. Police arrived on the scene shortly after the incident to find Johnson, who was found to possess two ghost guns, an illegal high-capacity magazine, and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.

Johnson has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and menacing. He is currently held at Fulton County Jail awaiting arraignment. The timing of the release of these details raises questions about safety, as the event occurred in the early hours of the morning, a time when such incidents can escalate quickly.
