Police in Cape Flats seize illegal firearms and ammunition during recent operations in response to escalating gun violence. This weekend, they rounded up suspects in Manenberg and Surrey Estate, resulting in the arrest of at least six individuals, including a 27-year-old man found in possession of 34 rounds of .22 ammunition.
In a separate incident, five suspects were apprehended in Surrey Estate while driving a stolen Audi, which housed a loaded 9mm pistol and two wigs.
