Career Criminal Sentenced for Liquor Store Shooting

George Sisk, 47, is sentenced to 13 years in federal prison following an armed robbery at Community Spirits Liquor Store in Indianapolis, where he shot an employee in the leg. The incident unfolded on March 26, 2020, when Sisk attempted to steal liquor but found himself locked inside the store by the staff, prompting him to escalate the situation with a firearm.

As Sisk demanded his exit, he fired a shot that injured the employee and fled with a bottle of Patron Tequila.
