Chelsea Police Arrest Jordy Ramos Romero for Drug Crimes

Chelsea and Revere Police successfully execute a raid on July 25, arresting 27-year-old Jordy Ramos Romero on charges of drug trafficking and illegal firearm possession. The search of his residence yielded approximately 68 grams of crack cocaine, a firearm, and nearly $9,600 in cash, believed to be proceeds from illegal activities. This operation highlights the commitment of local law enforcement to combat drug-related violence in their communities through regional collaboration.

In a statement, Chief Keith E. Houghton praised the inter-agency efforts that led to this significant bust, underscoring its importance in keeping dangerous substances and weapons off the streets. Romero is scheduled for arraignment at the Chelsea District Court on Monday, suggesting that this case might be a pivotal moment in the ongoing fight against drug trafficking in the area.
