Chemung County Man Charged with 28 Drug and Weapon Counts

A Chemung County grand jury indicts Robert R. Budnick, 42, on 28 felony counts, stemming from a significant police raid at his home. The February 4 search yielded over 20 firearms, including assault rifles, along with methamphetamine oil, crystal meth, and explosives, following a three-month investigation by state police.

Among the seized items were 20 firearms and $4,700 in cash, as well as materials related to drug manufacturing. Budnick is now held in Chemung County Jail on a $250,000 bail or $1 million bond, highlighting the serious nature of the alleged crimes.
